Anyway, since we're both...uhh...quite noob-ish at this type of thing ( i hope you're not reading this sugar-esque orz;; ), we're asking the general dA population for help. C: Any tips in general would be nice, like what to expect and if there's anything you're assumed to know before you go. x'D
We're thinking of getting a table (sharing) in the artist alley. What usually sells? Other than fanart ROFL. What would be a good thing to sell that's cheap and earns money, especially in our styles, besides prints? ( i know my style isn't exactly anime... anyway. ) I wanna do something kinda original, but I don't know if that would cut it. Maybe something more design-oriented, like stationary?
What specifically would you guys want to see, or what would you guys buy from me or an artist like me? What should I draw for prints and such? I'm probably not going to do any on-the-spot commissions unless I magically learn how to draw traditionally in a nice way orz;;
Also, I've heard that people really like you if you provide bags. Is this true?
And also, what's the customary budget that people have on them, or are willing to spend on an average artist?
And and and what's a good place to print stuff?
Thanks for the answers, guys~ <33
